CURRENT SERIES

We continue in part three of our series in the Gospel of Luke, working verse by verse through his eyewitness account of the life and ministry of Jesus Christ. So far, Luke has conveyed Jesus' identity and purpose, followed by what it means to be his disciple.

Chapters 10-14 contained some of Jesus' more challenging and provocative sayings, begging the question as to why anyone would want to follow him. Though challenging in their own way, our current section of Luke in chapters 15-19 show us what made his difficult and high calling simultaneously compelling and attractive. This section of memorable parables and stories is summarized in one verse: "The Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost." (Luke 19:10)
