Sing!

Singing is a universal human phenomenon. While some animals "sing", human beings uniquely put extraordinary energy, thought, and passion into music and song.

While singing is universal to humanity, it is especially significant to Christianity. No other religion makes singing so central to it - there are over 400 references to singing in the Bible and 50 direct commands to sing! What happens as we sing? Psalm 96 shows us that singing: 1. reveals our idols, 2. shapes who we are, and 3. saves the world.
