Whole Self

What is worship? In our modern context, it has come to refer almost exclusively to the particular part of a church service involving singing. While this is certainly a core component of worship, the term itself is much more broad and biblically rich.

Worship is much more than a genre of music - it is the expression of our deepest desires, longings, and hope. As C.S. Lewis once wrote, praise is "inner health made audible." In Psalm 63, we see what it means to worship with one's whole self - both body and soul.
