In Awe of God

Worship is not only a duty or a choice, but ultimately a natural response to what we find great or amazing. True, lasting worship is fueled by a fuller understanding of the reality of God - his character and attributes.

In particular, the combination of God’s incredible power coupled with his extraordinary mercy is meant to produce awe in the soul. As we humble ourselves beneath him, we find him upholding us.
