Let's be honest - "OK Boomer" is actually a pretty funny catchphrase. We can all relate to the humor of a timely dad joke or a tech-challenged senior. However, at its worst the phrase harbors resentment and disdain towards older generations.

Everyone believes their generation is always on the cutting edge of progress while failing to realize they will one day be the older generation getting made fun of. Rather than eschew our elders, the Bible upholds them as a source of wisdom and people to learn from. As we finish this series, we see one of the main antidotes to overcoming the self-centered world we live in - look to the knowledge and life experience of those who've gone before us.
