The Narrow Door

As Jesus journeys on towards Jerusalem, a person asks a natural question given the severity and high call of his teaching - “Lord, will those who are saved be few?” Rather than answer the question directly, Jesus instead issues a challenge - "Strive to enter through the narrow door."
Narrow doors can only accommodate the person - all the extra baggage can't come. While the door may be narrow, it is wide open. However, it won't stay open forever. Despite the urgency and serious of this command, Jesus himself would walk the narrow way and is not immune to its difficulty.
